We have a living room in which we can live. We have a kitchen in which we can cook, and sit and eat. We have a working toilet (on one floor) and a working shower (on the other). So we quit--at least for now.
Plants! And a toaster! That's civilization for you. At least, enough civilization for us for now. We have two whole rooms to live in, which is one room more than we've had for the past nine months.
Look--a bed, and places to put our clothes. Most of them, anyway. So we're quitting. For a couple of weeks, anyway. I'll get a job, and Jen will rehearse for her next performance. We'll watch movies. We'll read books. We'll have a housewarming--or at least a lukewarming.Then, soon, we'll start knocking down walls again, and making ourselves a real grownup bathroom on the ground floor. We'll keep you posted.
